David Moe – Director/DP
Award winning director and 15-year film veteran, David Moe’s work can be described as “dry, with a taste for the absurd”. Drawing inspiration from such great artists like Fellini, Wilder and Jerry Lewis, David Moe has created a current directing style of his own that is sarcastic, yet friendly and lighthearted.
Flexible and driven, David is a person with a comedic, friendly demeanor who encourages complete collaboration with others during the creative process; creative is King after all! This adaptability has made it possible for him to work with talent ranging from international artist Shag to football star Shannon Sharpe. Oh, and don’t forget David’s skill in directing hand puppets and chimpanzees.
David Moe has directed scads of commercials for clients such as Best Buy, Canada Dry, McDonald’s, MTV and Quizno’s. As a Director of Photography, he has shot dozens of commercial and film projects, including memorable music video parodies for Comedy Central.
A well-versed director, David has seen it all but still manages to stay relevant and entertaining.
