Creative Editor / Director / Visual Storyteller
Mick was born in the cornhusker state of Nebraska and now calls Minneapolis, Minnesota home. After years of shooting and editing short films in high school, he eventually realized that this was the kind of work that he was going to do for the rest of his life. Now in his eighth year at Drive Thru Inc., he is editing (and shooting) like a mad man. Always thinking of new ways to tell a story, Mick loves to figure out how the film reveals its true nature and rhythms in the edit room. His passion, energy, creative ideas, and hard work is what he stands for. When he is not in the edit room you can find him outside either on the slopes snowboarding, mountain biking, walking his bull dogs, rock’n out at a show, or just chillin’ at his cabin on Lake Ponto.
