Paul Henschel – Director / DP
Paul Henschel quickly started his career upon graduation from Florida State University film school as a cinematographer / editor for PBS. Later, as a documentary filmmaker, he had the opportunity to travel from Cambodia to Cuba on assignments for the PBS series “Frontline” which later won him The Peabody Award and The Columbia Dupont Award for journalism.
Starting in commercials as a comedy dialogue director, Henschel has worked to add fashion, action photography and real people dialogue to his list of specialties.
Some of Paul Henschel’s commercial credits include: Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Polaris, Monsanto, 1st USA Visa, John Deere Health, Marshall’s, Kmart, Bloomingdales, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bank One, Hormel, Nordstrom’s, General Mills and GE.
Recently Henschel has had the opportunity to revisit his documentary style with longer form projects including Farm Credit Services, Gavilon and Victaulic.
